Oh. my. GOD. I picked up Vegan Vittles by Jo Stepaniak at Smith Family Books today because I had a coupon for 20% used books (I picked up Vegan Italiano by Donna Klein as well), and it has a recipe for fucking OKONOMIYAKI, which ANY former or current Ranma 1/2 fan (read: überdork) knows is Ukyo's specialty and tastes like YUM. I can't wait to try this. I'm going to make it a little different than the recipe calls for, to try and replicate the way they make it in that little restaurant in Japantown in San Francisco, but yeah. OM NOM NOM.
